18th Annual Charity Golf Tournament - Cancelled

Our 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to support scholarships to Douglas County High School Seniors has been cancelled for July 31, 2020.

Sponsors, Players & Volunteers!

Due to the current crisis within our community, the DJDPMSF Board of Directors, with great sadness, has chosen to canceled our annual golf tournament; originally set for July 31, 2020.

We did not feel comfortable reaching out to businesses that have been affected by this pandemic and asking them for sponsorships or donations.  In fact, we personally reached out to the sponsors that already registered (and paid) and offered them a refund, a credit for next year's golf tournament, or to allow us to keep the money as a donation.

We will be back next year and are already making arrangements and plans for the bigger and better 2021 Golf Tournament, July 30, 2021, so put it on your calendar and watch for future emails to register when we are ready to accept registrations.

** Please stay tuned for announcements regarding what we plan to do in place of our annual tournament & how you can participate. **

Special Thanks to the Following Sponsors

The following sponsors have allowed us to keep their 2020 registration funds as a donation.
  • Wayne Jackson
  • Pride Auto Care, Al, Dwight, & Vince Pridemore
  • Silver Reef Organic Farms, Greg Schreiner
  • ColoradoScapes, Inc, Jake & Nikki Willett
  • Bill Rezek
The following sponsor also needs to be recognized. They will be re-purposing fees to help the community in other ways during this pandemic.
  • IREA, Jim Anest - refund and making contribution to Parker Task Force in our Foundation's name

2020 Scholarship Recipients

Even though our event has been cancelled, we have selected two recipients for scholarships this year and notified them via Zoom and are currently making arrangements to get checks to them.

These students will be invited to the 2021 event so that we can celebrate them just like all of our recipients in the past.
